Artist Wilfredo Ortega took students from Clinton Middle School to the Hudson Guild Community Senior Center for an artistic collaboration. Wilfredo encouraged the students to interact and converse with the seniors about the center and its use of space. Then they selected an area in the center where an artistic intervention would address the center patrons' main needs. Wilfredo worked with the students in the creation of a large geometric installation that responded to the architecture of the space. The work contrasts "the visual world" of Hudson Guild with "the visual field" of the vinyl shapes and offers the viewers different understandings of the space as it is considered from different perspectives.
