Projects
2006 : Saya Woolfalk works with performance, video and sculpture. She starts by asking the kids to bring in one object and to think of one emotion they would like express and recreate through performance. The objects are used as bases for the kids’ whimsical imagination, and with the help of fabric and paper are turned into props for the performance. The narrative springs naturally from the kids under the direction of the artists, who at the end tapes the performance. At opening night of the exhibition, the kids reenacted the performance, which was being playing also on a monitor.
