2005 : The Fantastic Real! - A Comic Book Project

Luca had the kids create a comic book character that acted as their alter ego or nemesis and then the kids produced their own mixed-media 3D comic book. Materials used included candy bar wrappers, pipe cleaners, colored wire, aluminum foil, decorative patterned paper, wood veneer, magazine cutouts, and more. Facsimiles are displayed for the public to read.
